Established May 16 1999, Limelight Restaurant & Lounge, Inc is a local family owned and operated gathering place in the Sellwood- Moreland neighborhood. We are located next door to the historic Moreland Theater, and adjacent to the antique Johnson Jewelers street clock on SE Milwaukie Avenue. Our menu features fresh house made dishes with quality ingredients, gluten-free and vegan options for every meal, craft cocktails and a variety of local wine, beer and cider. Our restaurant is family friendly with a kids menu for those 12 and under, we have sidewalk seating great for people watching on sunny days, and our lounge is 21 and over with two pool tables, jukebox, lottery, local art and friendly bartenders. We feature daily and monthly food and drink specials, plus Happy Hour Monday thru Saturday 3-6pm and Sunday 3-8pm.
Recognized by many as a “hidden gem” we have great weekend brunch (Sat & Sun 9am-2pm) with a variety of benedicts, veggie hash, Challah French Toast, omelets and more. Lunch classics abound with burgers, sandwiches, soups & salads, as well as signature items such as our Chicken & Brie Sandwich, or Gourmet Grilled Cheese. Dinner entrees include something for everyone, from steak, to hand battered IPA halibut fish and chips, gluten free Everything Bowl and a locally made Ravioli of the day with house sauces, hand-blended spices and seasonal vegetables.
Our specialty cocktail menu is inspired by our experienced bartenders, local offerings, and house made infusions. Five taps rotate local beers and ciders to round out our thirst quenching options.
